The Loihi Society: The Lo'ihi Society honors donors who commit themselves to the long-term future of HPA by including the Academy as a beneficiary of their estate. Gifts may be made through a will or a bequest, or through a charitable remainder trust, by placing a contribution in the HPA Pooled Income Fund, or by using other financial planning vehicles. Since each individual's financial picture is unique, we recommend that donors seek the advice of their tax advisor and legal counsel as needed.
